I am a doctoral researcher in the Department of Communication at Michigan State University. I study decision-making processes in new media environments.

Recently, I have been studying the dynamic decision-making models in media selection behaviors, as well as the audience responses to entertainment media. In my research, I aim to understand psychological and social processes leading to media behaviors, and their effect on health outcomes.

My research has been published in outlets such as Journal of Communication, Human Communication Research, Communication Research Reports, Psychology of Addictive Behaviors, and Journal of Sleep Research.
